How is the weather in Morocco?

The weather in Morocco can vary significantly depending on the region. Located in North Africa, Morocco has a diverse climate with Mediterranean, desert, and mountainous regions.

In coastal areas, such as Casablanca and Tangier, the weather is typically Mediterranean with mild winters and hot, dry summers. The average high temperature in the summer is around 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32 degrees Celsius) and the average low in the winter is around 50 degrees Fahrenheit (10 degrees Celsius). These coastal areas also receive a decent amount of rainfall, with the wettest months being November through March.

In the desert regions of Morocco, such as Marrakech and Ouarzazate, the weather is hot and dry year-round. The average high temperature in the summer is around 105 degrees Fahrenheit (40 degrees Celsius) and the average low in the winter is around 50 degrees Fahrenheit (10 degrees Celsius). These areas receive very little rainfall, with the dry season lasting from October to April.

In mountainous regions, such as the Atlas Mountains, the weather is cooler and more temperate. The average high temperature in the summer is around 75 degrees Fahrenheit (24 degrees Celsius) and the average low in the winter is around 40 degrees Fahrenheit (4 degrees Celsius). These areas also receive more rainfall than the desert regions, with the wettest months being November through January.

Overall, Morocco has a pleasant climate with warm, sunny days and cool nights. It is a popular tourist destination throughout the year, with the busiest season being in the summer when the weather is at its hottest.
